What not do to to clean your floors

DO NOT use wet mops or steam mops

DO NOT use vinyl or tile cleaning products

DO NOT use self-polishing acrylic waxes

DO NOT use wood furniture polish

DO NOT over-wax a wood floor

You are going to spill on your floor – DONT WORRY!

If you are able to, simply wiping up the spill will work.

If it continues to stain, call a hardwood flooring contractor. We can sand and stain the spot on the floor or replace that board, depending on your situation.

Vacuum around the spill in the cracks to make sure no mold grows in-between them.

If it is a coffee or wine spill, try and wipe up the liquid. Then mix 1 /2 cup of vinegar with a gallon of water. Don’t pour the mixture directly on the floor, but rather put the solution on a rag and wipe up the spill with the mixture.
